My role is to control all aspects of marketing for both the contract engineering and product development sides of Ciholas. The position was designed to bring a new B2B product to market. I was tasked to build a brand, create a website with an Ecom store, develop marketing materials, shoot and edit videos, write articles, manage social media, manage digital and traditional B2B advertising, and manage sales/business development.

I am a freelance photographer in the Evansville area. I take on clients of all types ranging from businesses, nonprofit organizations, schools and universities, portraiture clients, weddings, sporting events, and more.

July 2020-October 2023

Tasked with overseeing all marketing efforts for the organization. This includes branding, product development and marketing, internal signage, digital and social advertising, traditional advertising, website management, content production, leading front-line sales initiatives, community outreach, and more. The communications role includes internal and external communications, employee relations efforts, and event planning. I wear many hats each day and lead other employees to help accomplish these goals. I serve on committees for Strategic Planning, Overseeing Assets and Liabilities, and IT Steering.

June 2016- January 2020

I contributed to asset building and marketing development of products across the outdoor industry. Print, digital, social media, Amazon, and direct-to-consumer campaigns were a focus for the department while I was there. I provided input on these campaigns while also leading and organizing photo shoots in the studio and on location across the country. I had to provide expertise in creating imagery to represent the product and tell the story for 30+ brands across the sporting and outdoor industries.

Aug 2013-May 2016

As a Photographer in the University Communications department, I was responsible for organizing, planning, and executing photoshoots for athletics, social media, historical documentation, online publications, advertising, and the alumni magazine. I participated in planning and executing advertising campaigns, contributed directly to the university and departmental social media accounts, and produced multimedia projects for the university. I was able to focus on projects that stretched across many departments within the university and focused on target markets ranging from alumni, current students, and prospective students.
